Recruitment Media Buyer

The Recruitment Media Buyer will work within Talent Nexus’s Media Buying team and will be responsible for ensuring our clients are advertising their jobs on the highest performing job boards for the best possible price.

You will have a deep understanding of all recruitment advertising channels which includes building strong relationships with media partners.

There are 2 main parts to this role;

Contract Negotiation

  • Maintain client confidentiality and data protection guidelines at all times
  • Request information from multiple job boards about clients’ contracts, usage and performance
  • Analyse usage,performance and ROI data and request and negotiate renewal quotes for clients
  • Build recruitment schedules to meet client briefs for more ad hoc campaigns using multiple channels within a set budget
  • Present quotes to clients and manage the sign off process
  • Work closely with our finance team to ensure that clients receive accurate invoices in a timely fashion 

Account Management

  • Monitor our clients’ inventory throughout the duration of the contract.
  • Timely notification to clients when they are running low on inventory and negotiate top ups.
  • Investigate and understand why a client may be pacing behind on usage and work with the client and job board to resolve any potential issues.
  • Support the client with using premium inventory and provide ad hoc reports of performance where necessary
  • Build strong relationships with clients and ensure that Talent Nexus is their primary choice for their media and strive to upsell other areas of our business.

The Recruitment Media Buyer will be extremely organised, able to work on multiple top priority projects at the same time and have exceptional negotiation skills. This is a fast pace working environment where priorities change rapidly with multiple client, supplier and internal demands.

We expect the growth of the Media Buying team to continue at a rapid pace and with that brings opportunity to develop skills in the following areas (but not limited to);

  • Data analytics
  • Process development
  • Performance advertising

This is a full-time role mostly based in the Talent Nexus office when allowed.
